Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is an unassuming neighborhood situated in the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. A lot of people who aren't aware of they mistakenly believe the West Island extends westward from Montreal. Actually this is not the case. West Island includes everything westward of the city of Lachine. Many times, it is credited as the location of birth of Amanda Brugel but while that is the case, her time there was short. Brugel developed on Courtice located just outside Oshawa in Ontario. At the beginning of her life, she wanted to be a performer but an unexpected expansion of her body made it impossible. She admitted in an article published by The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. After I became too big for my male partners I stopped. The Brugel is one of the former dancers who shifted to acting. Her high school teacher school was what pushed her into the right direction. Her teacher advised her to audition as Anne for their school's annual production. The audition was successful and she was chosen in the role of Anne of Green Gables. Following her award of the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she attended York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the year 2000. The career of Brugel spans more than 20 years and she has been in over 60 productions including big screen productions and smaller ones. The most well-known role she played was that of Rita (pictured in the below photo) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was only seen on a few occasions in the first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. The only Canadian member.
